A3DK began in 2017, inspired by videos showcasing the fascinating technology of 3D printing—a process that at the time seemed almost magical, transforming simple plastics into fully formed objects. In the spring of 2018, this concept took on a more personal dimension, driven by a prior interest in vintage items and vehicles, such as classic cars and motorcycles. This interest revealed a clear need: the creation of components that were either unavailable or difficult to find. The realization that 3D printing could address this issue was pivotal.
In the summer/fall of 2018, the first investment in equipment was made, marking the beginning of a challenging yet exciting journey of learning and experience, filled with obstacles, failures, and eventual successes.
Today, with more than six years of experience, A3DK has grown, investing in new technologies, advanced machinery, and an expanded range of materials and techniques.
